Having breast cancer is devastating enough, no matter what age you are, but chemotherapy to fight the cancer also causes yet another health problem, infertilty.
For young women with breast cancer that still want to be mothers, this is the worst news a girl could possibly get.
Carly Byrd was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 25, and has been battling the disease for four years now. She is now going through chemotherapy to stop her cancer, but before treatment, Carly took a major step to preserve her fertility: cryopreservation.
