Infertility in Barbados is a Best Bet for Pregnancy Success

The statistics say it all. At least one in six couples worldwide is infertile, due to male, female or unexplained causes.

Unfortunately, this number continues to grow, but so does infertility treatment technology, which has helped millions of people around the world have children.

Although assisted reproductive technology (ART) has its benefits, there are many downsides as well. Infertility treatments are physically, mentally and financially taxing; this is especially true for Americans, Brits, and Canadians.

However, it isn't the truth everywhere, and couples are figuring this out fast.

Take Barbados for example. Infertility treatments in Barbados is a highly sought out location as an alternative to undergoing IVF at home.

Infertility in Barbados allows couples to take a much needed stress-relieving vacation, and receive affordable infertility treatments in the same trip.

It may sound too good to be true, but at clinics like Barbados Fertility Centre, the success rates and patient testimonials say it all.

Infertility Treatments Abroad: So Many Great Options!

With the cost of health care on the rise, many people are searching for a more practical solution.

While traveling halfway across the world for medical treatment doesn't seem practical at first, medical tourism is an industry with a growing reputation for quality care, great doctors, and surprisingly affordable prices.

Patients can't afford treatment, and on top of that, many of them are very unhappy with the services their own countries provide, so more and more are packing their bags, and heading across the globe in hopes of becoming pregnant in an exotic location.

Affordable IVF Found in Israel

A recent New York Times article highlighted the world capital of IVF: Israel.

While it is famous for its baby-making business, surprisingly, Israel's IVF industry isn't seen in a negative light.

Actually, Israel is the only country in the world to offer UNLIMITED rounds of in-vitro fertilization for up to two "take-home babies", until a woman reaches the age of 45. State clinics don't charge a cent, and private IVF clinics in Israel usually charge a small co-pay of about $150.

This article is sure to cause a stir amongst American infertility patients, who often spend their life savings in order to conceive a child. It might start a revolution in the U.S., or it might cause a boom in the industry of medical tourism in Israel...

IVF Lottery Causes Storm of Controversy

People gamble on many things: sports, horse races, card games, and slot machines. Today in the UK, couples are gambling for the chance to have a baby, and medical professionals aren't impressed.

The IVF Lottery promises infertile couples a chance to win $40,000 worth of infertility treatments abroad, along with a list of luxury amenities during the trip.

The goal was to help a few lucky couples avert the high costs of IVF and similar treatments, but many experts believe that the intentions of the lottery are not pure. Some claim that this baby lotto will give couples false hope in an already very emotionally draining situation.

What do you think? Would you buy tickets and enter an IVF Lottery?
